i found and bumped the thread where i mentioned when it built this machine...

however now i cannot seem to find the thread... im pretty sure the thread name was ''tower of power''

anyways it could only need an updated videocard if you really wanted to.
it plays the shit out of every blizzard game.

i can overclock it again for you...stabelize it set it up, update install etc..
i had it oc'd to 3.9ghz and it was stable and had no heat issues.

i just bought some air dusted etc... im going to tear it appart and clean it...figure out why the ide hdd wont read(probably a jumper on the old damn thing(i have alot of old ide drives i want to copy over to an ssd external drive)).

its a slick rig...pretty clean. good budget gaming pc that has lastested years and has years of life left... just needs an upgrade to the video card.
and if you want ill even install the video card for you... i had to gracefuly notch the fan on the clear case cover fan...because it barely hit the cpu liquid cooler...never know how u might have to do shit to make something new fit Smile

anyone interested?

already got a buddy at work interested. it was something like a 1250$ish build give or take a few bucks....

guessing of browsing craigs lists and get an idea on a value range there...

anyone with above average knowledge of computers knows hard drive is the first thing to eventually fail (after power supply), so if you got a potential buyer (knowing he's buying a USED RIG) he either is noob or he will ask you if he can buy you the computer without the hard drive.


ide or sata is irrelevant. hard drives have an average 3-5years life.(cept for SSDs of course) the rest of the components last way longer if handled properly.

give it an video upgrade and its going to handle the game he wants to play at high settings...it already ran wow pretty damn well....he tried to play that before but he couldnt run it

no it won't. you realize wow came out 9 years ago and has extremely dated graphics, right? you can get a new generation i3 for 100 dollars that will vastly outperform that phenom at a fraction of the heat/electricity (important during summer).

No one is going to shell out for your used computer on this forum. Your best bet is to post it somewhere like craigslist where not everyone is semi informed. If you want to put a dollar value on it, I think KHB's was the most realistic as pertains to this forum. You may get more by pursuing other places of sale. I'd be surprised if most people on this forum don't already have something that is comparable to urs or far superior.
