i just filled my team with mostly veteran bigs with good experience ... their cheap to buy and they own. BC Toroo the guy who dominated this game a few seasons back while he was playing in Canada is now in Brazil and is doing the same thing.. he has some 34 year old starters.. He just promoted to DIV.II in Brazil, he knows what he's doing.

Game shape doesn't matter because season is over. Going into the playoffs 90% of my team was proficient, including Dean.

I had to play the guy who was definitely going to win the league in the first round. I actually beat his starters the week before but it was at my house, and I did a LI vs. a 3-2 zone. In the playoff game I tried to get a mismatch using Dean because he still owns obviously, thus patient offense with Dean starting at PF. But Dean guarded SG, the SG guarded SF, and I needed a big man at SF to guard the PF/C spot which is how I set it. I actually was winning for the first three quarters but then my guys tired, and he went on a run when Dean rested as well.

It was a very tough game, trailed at half time, didn't really pull ahead until about 3 minutes or so left. When I went up by 7 or 8 and Beverly went to the bench to rest I knew it was ok then. Tough team, good quality coach. Going to miss playing him 2 or 3 times a season. Good luck Saturday night, should be a good game!

^^ as soon as he beat me he already became sure he was gonna win the league and get promoted, even though it was only the first round. He said i was his only real hurdle

Dean is a beast, i wouldn't want to play him in the playoffs. that's the only reason some teams fear you, but you played him at PF, and his PF went off and had a near triple double to negate Dean's performance.
