LOL foonat's team has a guy with the potential of "Announcer," I never saw that before. http://www.buzzerbeater.com/BBWeb/playerBox.aspx?PlayerID=9987659
looks like Sypher
he has a 25yo MVP SF
a 22yo perennial allstar C, 7'2
and a 32yo superstar SG
the MVP SF and the C look like very good building blocks.

Take a look at your roster, see who you wanna keep. The ones you don't want, you can click on and then click Fire or put them up for auction.
If you click Schedule you can then click Set next to your next game to set your line up and rotation.
You can decide what positions/skills to train by clicking Train. And then you can check the player market or click staff and "replace" if you want to get a new trainer or doctor or whatever.
the Manager Checklist will run you through a lot of things you might want to do. _________________ i zero bagged your mother

blid are you investing any money in scouting? the more you spend in scouting the better players you'll get in the draft.
i'm not spending anything right now cause i'm poor as fuck.
fyi foonat i wouldn't do run and gun offense unless against a weak team, run and gun offense is a lot of jacking up 3 pointers. even your center will shoot 3s.

man i can't wait to arrange scrimmages with you. scrimmages are really just practice. so you can fuck around , try different strategies and shit seeing what works. also you can decide to rest your players during a scrimmage if you have an important game coming up than when that important game comes you can change the attitude to 'crunch time' and you won't tire out because you had rested your players the previous game. i'm sure it'll allow us to scrimmage with each other every week i don't see why it won't let us keep playing each other.
also i think your luxuy boxes are a waste of money, you need to start winning and selling out games then you can add more seats.

All my previous games sold out all the seats except for a couple bleachers, and even those sold 90%, and now I have a better PR guy who I'm paying an arm and a leg. Not only do i expect to sell out I expect to double my prices and still sell out or that dick isn't doing his job!

i'm gonna get a PR guy too, i just bought a 19 yr old shooting guard, trying to get a 19 yr old pg since my guards right now are both over 32. can one of you guys take a look at my team and give me an opinion on who i should get rid of?

Well, since I just started this game I don't know if my advice is any good or not, but I'll just tell you my thoughts anyway.
At center, I would sell Alton Turner. He's young with decent potential and you might get a good return, but his salary is high and you already have Morris Mitchell who is a bit bigger and has more potential. Daryl Thomas, the other center, seems like a good back-up since he's so cheap.
You've got a glut of power forwards. 6? I might just fire Arnoldo Larios, he doesn't have much potential and he's over 30. Looks like you've got two others already for sale so that should thin the herd out a bit. Maybe go with Douglas Edwards as your guy for the short-term. Don't necessarily train him up, but use him at the position until you get a young up-and-comer. I don't see a long-term guy in the bunch.
At SF I would fire Christian Jensen. His salary is massive and he's not going to get to contribute at all since he's behind your MVP candidate Andy Qualls. John Jacobs can serve as back-up: young, cheap, 6th man.
SG looks good. Give Zoltan Buki the minutes to build on his superstar potential and he has a solid back-up in Will Phillips too.
Only 1 PG and he doesn't look any good. You need to get a new one ASAP. At least a decent placeholder.
I'd be interested to see what Jon thinks too, I wonder if it's the same kind of thing or completely different. Since I'm new to this too I'm not necessarily 100% confident in this advice.

no, those games that had sold out were before you took over the team, it will be different now.
by the way, losing a televised game hurts your fanbase. lawl.
as for foonat i can't see any of his players attribute levels. you have to use your judgement , does your pg have good passing, your center/pf have good rebounding etc.
and yea put training into younger players with high potential.

Btw, this game looks promising but it doesn't even approach the best web-based (sports or maybe otherwise) game ive ever seen, which was web boxing, http://www.vivi.com/
the amount of strategy involved in that game was mind-blowing. i played it for a few months a year or two ago before i finally retired my fighters because it became too exhausting trying to outscheme the other top fighters in my weight classes. although my welterweight retired undefeated and #1. actually his last fight was a draw which scared me into retiring and quitting the game while he was still unbeaten. some of my other fighters got belts and lost them.
edit: woot, according to my economy page, my team turned a $13,500 profit -- even with $10,000 in scouting. I don't think it's totally accurate though cuz I didn't actually have any home games (joined late in the week) but it shows revenue from attendance.

Hrm, I have noticed that it is a lot easier to buy players late at night. There are currently over 1200 people online. I am getting outbid extremely fast.
Last night there were only about 300 people online which made bidding a lot easier. _________________ "I tend to thougoughly enjoy my encounters significantly more with 120+ types, as I find them more stimulating. 100-110 people are okay too operating at full capacity." - Paper_Boy
