Anyone who streams on twitch with war2 more than likely uses OBS. It can also record to your HD like fraps as well. So yea, you can use a mic, and no, its not easy to set up. Follow any guide for setting up starcraft 1, Diablo, or War3 with OBS. It mainly requires ustreamcapture which is something extra you have to dl and its a pain to get working properly. Its easy to mess it up and get "The red screen of death".

I put together a tutorial on it. But like I said, its not easy, and thus the videos are quite long.

You need something similar to ustreamcapture, if not ustreamcapture itself. Look for ustreamcapture/fraps setup on google maybe? IDK, never used it but I do know ustreamcapture would fix any black screen issues since it does the same thing for OBS.

I used OBS once to stream for war2 -

EQ - check back these forums to around end july 2014 - I made a whole post on how to stream for war2 and troubleshoot the issues I came up with while getting it rolling

I did manage to make it work and stream successfully on twitch, but my computer is a i3 intel core - not strong enough to stream unfortunately
