I'm sorry for the disappointment everyone, but we've had many voting threads in the past for new game additions. Those new games get added with the hopes and promises from players and then nothing comes from it. As you can see we already have Warcraft III Frozen Throne here and nobody plays it (maybe 10-15 players in there at a time).

I'm not a coder, so I don't know how much time and effort adding a new game requires. I do know it's disappointing to spend that time and effort to get a game added then have it result in an empty Lounge.

Voobly is also ran by Volunteers. We don't get paid for our time and efforts. If and when a game is added it takes time to do so as a lot of the people on Voobly Staff have lives of their own to attend to.

Based on the number of votes & replies here I will propose a discussion about this with Voobly Staff. I think it deserves that much considering the attention this thread is getting.

i dont rly see this terrible need to move 2 other place.

lets admit the facts.
war2 has been dying 10years or something.
lets play till the end here in .ru.
there is no point tryin to grow up player base or do some major tricks or changes. it wont work.
ofc we can try to improve .ru always if some active admins wanna do that. but i dont c any good reason to move anywhere.

latency is "decent"
ladder iz automated and good imo.
hosting iz easy and there is always ppl who host for newbies. at the night time u can actually find games pretty well continuously. it is easier to get team games these days than year or 2 ago somehow.

This game deserve more then die, why let it die when we can add it on voobly.

Voobly are affiliate with World series videos games and they host league tournament with cash prize.

Thats the rebirth of war 2 and you talk to let it die, no thanks bro.

The things you guy seen to forgot is more like... they have their pro too... there alot of age of empire pro player there... Im pretty sure some of them gonna try war2 and gonna see how this game rock... and im pretty sure some of them gonna play war2 and gonna surprise us.

Why everyone scare about that idea, thats the greatest idea since you guys refuse to upgrade our communauty with lance for your personal probleme.

We dont care about all this shit we want someting new, we want someting competitive with more players to let everyone play... How much player have to w8 on channel or join newb game cuz the pro player is full and they 2v2.. We need more players, we need new stuff, we need people who will care about war2 and give us what we need. Im sorry you guys have doing alot of things for war2 but right now you guys are lazy and do nothing to keep this game alive and bring something new.

Now you guys have a choice, go speak with them and try to make a deal about our staff and tell them you want to work with them.. Or you guys keep WAR2.RU and work to grow up this communauty for real, dont act like you try because we all know you guys din't!

They said they are not paid for all the work they do, so they not gonna refuse the fact some people will work with them, they do it for free.

GO talk with them!!! And do something!!
