position scarcity dude. on top of howard killing ft%. on the average team, i'd rather have hayward than dwight. if im drafting a team, i am not going to attempt a "punt ft%" strat ever for howard's sake, because he's not good enough these days. ill just draft one of the other 15 centers in his neighborhood.

i get the position scarcity idiot, but that doesn't mean 16ppg on 41% on a shitty 1.1 3pg makes it exceptionally more valuable than what it is.

uh i don't know how good you want him to be to be draftable, but if punting him makes him good enough to be 13th overall , that's pretty fucking good. and the only reason he isn't higher than other centers is his shitty turnovers.

that's not that good. it's punting a category, first off, which is a sacrifice, and he's still the 8th rated center on that list. he's simply not worth it until the later rounds, like 5th or so, and by then, you may not have the right type of team for him, in which case you still don't want him

punting a category isn't that much of a sacrifice at all , it's a strategy that can be pretty fucking powerful if done right.. it's not like you're going to dominate 9 cats anyways.

in old days maybe you could put together a rondo/iggy/josh smith/dwight lineup or something but nowadays i dont know if that would still work. those guys have all seen better days

i'm seeing a few guys in mock drafts grab anthony davis second overall, over lebron lol... he did finish ahead in the rankings over lebron last season but shit i don't think i'd do that still...

We better do a 10 player league this time. Like I said last year, too big of a risk getting inactive players with a 12 team league. Plus, we haven't tried a 10 team league yet it could be fun.

it would be cool if blid open his league already so we can invite guys back and see who joins but he likes to wait very late and have us scrambling to fill out the league at the last minute..

10 teams max
I kept the same settings from blid's league but tell me if you want to try something new...
I think you should be able to join manually just using the league name, no PW .. if you have problems post your e-mail here or PM it and i can send invites...

Playing in a league with Jon as a commissioner strikes me as a bad idea. Prepare for your all trades involving Dwight to be vetoed unless they're for top ten players

Yeah right, like you have any room to criticize anyone with your perpetually shitty managing.. anyways, all trades are put to a league vote. only trades that will be vetoed is if the majority of the league is against it.
I'm actually not going to unilaterally veto anything unless it's intensely stupid , but even a dwight howard for gordon scrubwood i wouldn't even veto on my own, it would go to league vote.
I'm also more open to changes than you are, you wouldn't change your settings if the majority of the league wanted it..

we'll probably never do a money league, we got to many players that play for fun only plus we have trouble enough trying to fill out a league when it's free..

i sent invites to everyone so if you got a different e-mail from last season give it to me for an invite..
i wouldn't mind doing 2 leagues, 1 keeper and 1 redraft...
we need at least 10 dedicated players though for a keeper.
