Death toll in African Ebola outbreak rises

been following this for awhile, also read the The Hot Zone and finishing up a less sensationalist book Spillover.
So yea this is the biggest Ebola outbreak ever.

if ebola was airborne this wouldn't be confined to west africa anymore ... it would be a pandemic ...
influenza is airborne and when it got out of control and we had no vaccine at the time this happened

it says it doesn't stay long in the air, im no bio expert and dont know how long it stays on influenza to make such comparision (vs ebola). i guess time will tell.

i just watched on tv afternoon news that USA is on alert cuz of ebola arrival...! 2 cases werer confirmed.

ebola isn't airborne and usa isn't on alert. they never would have brought them over if they thought it was a major threat.
