Poet Technologies
Hello,
I wanted to share an interesting stock I've been following:
http://www.stockhouse.com/companies/quote/v.ptk/poet-technologies-inc
It's basically a chip technology that isn't based upon silicon. They've proven the technology and are now at a point where they're trying to reduce the size to 100nm. Once they do that it's basically off to the races.
Key points of it are that it's about 100x faster, and consumes 10x less energy.
If you have a little extra money, do some due diligence first, but it may be worth while. The company was independently evaluated at $1 billion, which would put it's stock at roughly $10 dollars if they sold out. There may be other options there for revenue though. That would be 20 times your investment right now.
Anyways, it's a risky stock, but there are a lot of industry people joining the company which usually leads me to believe that they may actually have something.
I just wanted to share for those who may be interested in this sort of thing.
Do your own DD.

So I know most of you don't care and Jon's feels this is garbage... but this stock has gone up 50% in the last 2-3 weeks. Based on the speculation, technological reports, and the usual forward looking statements, it doesn't look to be stopping until the 2-3 dollar range. Then if certain news comes up, the sky is literally the limit.

I bought it at 30 cents and only 8800 shares so not a whole ton of money. Just sharing what I think has really good potential and some people may be interested in because it's computer related.

I actually just sold my shares this morning. The company pretty much fucked the recent run up by doing a PP at 65 cents. So I'm expecting the share price to tank back down. I'll get back in around 60 cents. Hopefully they don't announce anything big in the next few weeks.

Obviously Kith is used to making it rain. _________________ I don't think anyone has unlimited time, and that seems like a particularly strange conclusion to draw from about 20 minutes worth of posting on a message board. Hassan-i-Suckah

What have we learned in this thread? $2600 dollars to fast luck is a lot of money, and to kith it's chump change.

Well you would have also doubled your money.
When I initially made this thread the stock was around 45-50 cents. It hit 1.01 today and there looks to be no end in sight. The last 5-6 days have all been increases of 5-8%. The private placement had a stalling effect but basically once the PP was filled it just kept going right back up.

I actually bought some of this at like 1.13. Not as much as you, but enough to be glad at this point. _________________ “Imagine If You Wrapped A Percocet In A Slab Of Bacon, Fed It To A Woolly Mammoth, And Shouted ‘Dance, Hairy Boyfriend, Dance’ – That’s Torche.” -- Mike Huckabee

Well that's good. 2.04 on Friday.
I think it's really going to skyrocket. I'm almost considering buying 5000 more shares even at this price.
