i have a logitech M705 and it's 3200 DPI...
the thing that made a difference for me was setting my mouse speed to 6, and disabling pointer precision ... took me a couple days to get used to but after i unchecked the "enable pointer precision" box i noticed my movements were a lot more smooth and accurate. _________________

I used the deathadder at 3500dpi last time I played. It also matters on the resolution of your monitor too.

I played war2 with 3500DPI but sensitivity at 2/10 I think in the software and it was fine. Better to use high DPI and lower sensitivity than use a low DPI I think.
