for router / wireless network experts
Just wondering if anyone on here can solve my problem...
I have a wireless router/internet modem downstairs that transmits throughout the house, and I recently hooked up my older PC with windows XP upstairs so I can play some war2. My older PC isn't wireless but I do have an additional wireless router (Linksys cisco) and an off brand xbox wireless usb dongle thing (datel MAX wireless 'n' network). I figure one of these should have some way of getting the internet transmitted to my computer upstairs without having to buy another wireless internet adapter for the PC, especially the xbox one since my computer recognizes what it is but it wont work for the lack of a driver.
So does anyone know how to get a driver for the xbox adapter thing, or how to make the router upstairs pick up the internet from downstairs (the upstairs router is plugged to the PC)?

well does the dongle have any serial number or anything at all written in it?
type that in goggle and add 'usb dongle driver'
there should be a driver somewhere on the web for sure
as for the router, its doable but i haven't done it myself so can't give u specific instructions, i'd have to read the manuals, so you should download and read the manual for the linksys router:P

http://www.amazon.com/b?ie=UTF8&node=1194444 if your setup allows you to use one of these i'd recommend it, easy and i've never had any of the bad signal problems you get with wireless (that stuff is especially bad if you're trying to play games online)
