Search engine / home page debate
a long time ago a buddy of mine had google set to his homepage. it was simple looking and clean. brilliant marketing decision. all the veteran sites at the time looked old or had to much shit on it like most pages do nowadays.
my dumbass still has it set as the homepage. even though i think google is a joke in that it is one of several mainstream worthless fucking sites (ie facebook&twitter etc..) among other issues i dont feel like citing references and double checking facts. nor do i want to go off pure memory. i dominate at large picture but if i have to break it down you will get lost.
so... what is your homepage set to
what serach engine do you recommend and why?
i also think with a small think tank which would include myself could make AOL relevant and profitable once again.

i find everything i need using goggle
dont know what sort of content you are wanting that makes goggle worthless
or how is it 'mainstream?
its just a blank page with a search box....
unless you mean using igoggle.com or goggle plus.... but thats a different subject isnt it?
i have used very little other search engines, and it was probably cuz they blow
like yahoo.
facebook, i use it, its useful, keeps track with relatives, friends, and sharing other useful info
my homepage, i dont have homepage, iuse goggle chrome, my starting page is a page with thumbnails of my most frequent sites, and i just have to type whatever i want to search in the link bar (using goggle as the search engine) _________________ http://phoenixtears.ca/

Chrome opens up to my bookmarks. Google.com is one of them and is often the one that is clicked. _________________ "I tend to thougoughly enjoy my encounters significantly more with 120+ types, as I find them more stimulating. 100-110 people are okay too operating at full capacity." - Paper_Boy

Google. Not sure why you object to it just because it's "mainstream". For me, it's nice and clean and does the job I want. _________________ Give me a lever long enough and I shall move the world. - Archimedes
