Where should i go?
The lan will be hosted at the same place as usual. Its the Hockey rink of my team. We have plently of space, a kitchen, showers, toilets etc. there! So everything you need. There wont be any costs for us but you can donate a few bucks for the team if you want to.

beware: some navigation systems have trouble finding the street
If you need any sort of help with traveling, ask me!!! Alot of people are coming, there might be people who can pick you up, even from an airport!!! Nothing is impossible.
Where can i sleep?
1. lan location -> bring your own bed though, but we have plenty of space
2. camp in a tent or whatever at the location -> thats what i always do 
3. hotel -> i can help you to book a place, single rooms cost about 30-40€/night
4. ???keyboard???
Should i bring my own computer?
If it is possible, do it! We will have at least 8 computers and dont really need more. People who dont bring a computer should bring at least their own mouse and keyboard.
I heard there will be a tournament... so what can I win???
1st place: an epic war2 lan champion cup, lots of fame and hot girls!
2nd place: Surprise, surprise baby!
3rd place: Surprise, surprise baby!

Wo muss ich hin?
Die Lan wird wieder in dem Zuhause von meinem Hockey Team statfinden. Es gibt eine Küche, Duschen, Toiletten etc., also alles was man so braucht. Die Lan wird nichts kosten, ihr könnt allerdings ein paar Euro an das Hockey Team spenden, wenn ihr wollt.

Wenn ihr mit der Anreise Probleme habt, oder eine Fahrgemeinschaft braucht, fragt mich, evtl. kann ich etwas organisieren.
Wo kann ich schlafen?
1. Im Teamhaus wo wir die Lan machen, dann müsst ihr nur etwas mitbringen worauf ihr schlafen könnt.
2. Ich Zelte immmer, das könnt ihr auch
3. Günstige Hotels kosten ca. 30-40€ pro Nacht
4. Auf eurer Tastatur....?!
Soll ich meinen Computer mitbringen?
Wenn es geht, klar! Normalerweise haben wir ca. 8 Computer, das reicht auch. Wenn ihr keinen Computer mitbringt, bringt einfach eure Maus und Tastatur mit.
Ich habe von einem Turnier gehört, was kann ich gewinnen??

Lan isäntänä samassa paikassa kuin normaalisti. Sen Hockey kaukalossa minun joukkue. Meillä on plently tilaa, keittiö, suihkut, wc jne. siellä! Joten kaikki mitä tarvitset. On tapana olla mitään kustannuksia meille, mutta voit lahjoittaa muutaman taalaa joukkue, jos haluat.

3. Hotelli -> voin auttaa sinua varata paikka, yhden hengen huonetta maksaa noin 30-40 € / yö

That's the same weekend the Festival is scheduled for - it would be really good if you LAN party people could be nice guys and all enter the Festival. You don't want to take all the European players out of the Festival!

This isn't a problem is it? If two LAN party players are matched up against each other they can just 1v1 on the LAN . If they're matched up against other people it should work fine.

well it seems like you were never rly on a meeting like this. iam sorry it is at the same weekend but its the best date.
people are not mainly coming to play w2 or tournaments, they just want to have fun and meet people they normally only see online. most ppl only play a couple of games actually. people are drinking and making party, when the usual tournaments start its like 10 pm in germany and half of the people are drunk/going out and for sure wont play a tournament for the next 4 hours. in a short sentence, i just highly recommend you to not count on people who will be on the lan...

2) What's good to do in that area of Germany as a tourist? If I go, it will be with my gf so we want to take advantage of the trip.

I'm serious about this since i've never been to Europe...It looks like my work schedule does not conflict with it, but i'll have to confirm with my team this week.
I found a roundtrip flight from Miami, FL - Dusseldorf, Germany for ~$1,050...let me know if that's too expensive. Also, there's a slight possibility I fly to Rome first to hang out with Mr. Hotty or to London to visit family and then travel to Germany. Either way, the availability is there.
If I get to Dusseldord early on July 23rd, would any of you guys be available? Can i sleep at the tournament location? If so, what days exactly?

Saturday is an awful timing. I personally drive at friday after work and leave at saturday evening already. I can ask Laalaa or thrawn if they can give u a ride, but I guess that depends on if its the International Airport in Düsseldorf or Düsseldorf Niederrhein.
You said its a cheap flight so its propably Niederrhein and that airport is not even close to Düsseldorf even tho its called that way.
Getting back FROM the meetup should be no prob. There are a couple of people that drive into this region.
And for Mister Viruz: Fetching you on July the 23rd would be possible. You could stay at my flat till the meetup and drive there together with me, if you can live with being the 2nd best player in the car...:-p
