What is the best way to deal with a 9/s9 dual from 12/2 or 4/5?

from 12/2 against s9/9 ... i would suggest 2 cat(more if needed)/tower/rushing

4/5 is pretty far away and not as effective when cat rushing s9/9 .. the counter dual/harass with grunts is probably more effective

BUT .. when im 12/2 i peon scout after first farm. i go 11 then 9. if they are dualing s9/9, by the time your peon gets to 9 you should walk in, see their dual, and have time to o/t or rax them before they close off

if you go straight to 9 from 2/12 sometimes your peon gets there before they dual at 9, it looks empty, and you completely miss the dual.

anywhere else harass with grunts counter dual,

if you're 6 or 4 leave the game. you just have to bloat your army so large you can counter their first 2-4 attacks and bring it into late game, vs a good dualer that's impossible.
