best way to rush

yea. Scout your opponent out. Saaay if he's 2 raxin, you might 1 rax rush/lust w/a defensive tower. If you see hes dualin, then you can pop a second rax and get some cats, or whatever. If hes powerin, you can stay with a 1 rax and go quick saps. But to know whether or not to 1 rax, or 2 rax..you need to scout. =)

best way to rush

I'm wondering on GOW if 2 rax or 1 rax rush is better. Or build both at same time or at after. And.. i've noticed that in 1v1's rushing prevails over 3on1,two halling or powering. Any opions

Rushing is a huge commitment, its not just something you do before you get ogres.

You HAVE to kill or cripple one of his bases, or kill him if he's powering.

By saying that a rush usually beats a 2hall or power, you're obviously not playing anyone that is any good.

A good player can get 6 or 7 ogres with a cat (powering), by the time you bring in your 2 cat rush.

A good player 2halling can get ogres just about the time the powerer attacks one of their bases. if that first attack from the power fails, the game is over.

Anyways, to answer your question... pumping from 2 rax right away will slow you down SEVERELY.
What axolotl and i think kith do is build their hall, farm, rax, and then while building other buildings they'll pump out 4 grunts from that rax, then put up the second rax and begin pumping from both.

This SEEMS slower than someone that builds 2 raxes at once but you're gonna end up POUNDING them in the resource war, because there is no way you can pump from 2 rax that early AND produce peons.. you either end up doing only one rax or no peons.

If you are rushing someone, and you notice they have alot more grunts than you.. pull back and put a tower up, and expand somewhere. You have to break that rush, and there's no way you can break into their base when they have more grunts, even with a cat.

So at that point its a race to keep. even if he has 12 grunts to your 6 or 7, if you build a guard tower and stand them against your wallin, you're gonna stop his attack. By that point you'd better have ogres.

So basically, if he has more grunts, pull back and grunt stop, get keep as soon as you can afford it... and hope he doesnt beat you to it.

best way to rush

In my opinion The Best way to rush is Hard as Fuck.
lvl 5 2 rax stopping peons. Dont go 2nd rax until your almost lvl 2/1/2. IF they lvl 3 rush hit them when your lvl 4. If you don't they will probably have some ogers by the time you can lvl 5 rush. This usually Works when you over do it, becuase most FOOlz race to lust. And scout early. If they have a cannon dont bother. And Bring a peon when u attack incase they have a setup or farm in. Then u ot them with a setup. You will only need a few on lumber.
