Hello, I would really like to put the music back on, I have all necessary files from an older WC2 copy, how do I enable music?

the proper way to do a powerlust is with 14 peons 5 on wood build 3 more when strong go fort with 17 and build 3 rax when you have enough wood.

this could be true, the 2haller would have to be on top of their game though, and if the guy lusting hits his main with the raxes being build; well, game over for the 2haller. that being said, 2hall vs power lust is probably the worst scenario for a power.

to make the lust faster, inside rax, 9 peon, cat, 3-4 more at hold, preferably 3 since ur going for speed here, fort; rush that altar with ur life _________________ I am also a contradiction of my own lies

this thread is NOT about strategies. How to I make the music play in game? I got all the .mid files... and I got an older version of the game. You know the background music?

the greatest way to play is to sabotage your opponents economy. too sabotage a dualer you need to get their early and fast.
in a choice between gold and wood peons, everyone always goes for gold. this is actually not the best choice though. most people have at least 2k in the bank by the time midgame rolls around. just sitting their, not doing anything. so what if you kill 3 or 4 gold peons in a early rush? with 2k in the bank that war machine is just going to keep coming.
the best choice is always wood peons, and they are so much better targets. you only need to attack once to make them stop chopping. killing 5 or 6 wood peons can be a 70-80 percent cut in their wood production compared to a 20-30 percent of gold peons. this will always slow anyone down.
obviously if you lawlstomp them in the rush go ahead and kill every peon in sight. however, in a close game that is evenly matched, killing the wood peons can give you enough edge to win.

What you said does not make any sense, because it just doesn't. Puttin a cd in does not effect the way the game processes its non existant musica files, alright?
Second of all I am using this website's game, the battle net edition of war2. I have the files from a previous install, but it is 16 bit, and cannot launch on a 64 bit computer.
And why the hell are most replies off topic????

he means put war2 CD into a CD player. like your dvd player or your blue-ray player, or just a regular cd boombox if those still exist.

I mounted an .iso image of the cd that's on my backup partition on to a virtual drive, then load combat. The music works now. _________________ <[TD]ViRuZ> You have balls...I like balls

to put in the music is a lot harder than you think and midi's wont do it since the game reads wav's but in order to play the music you would have to start messing with the mpq files which i can do but its a bitch to teach some 1

it takes more then just an mpq editor
but i did come up with a solution why not just download the full version of a torrent download a gateway editor and add ru to it? seems like a much easier solution to your problem
