Beer!
i remember someone said the beer with the highest alcohol % they had tried was 9.5% or so
anyway, me and a couple of friends went to a bar that served only beers, so we would try a bunch of different ones and get drunk of course. i looked for the beer with the highest abv on the list and ordered it. it was called Samichlaus Bier and had an abv of 14%. so basically i expected it to taste like shit, but i was surprised when it was actually kinda good. it had a deep red color and a sweet taste. it was rather expensive though

Sounds like a beefed up Rickard's Red. If it tastes anything like Rik's then it must be nearly the perfect beer, at 14%... _________________ We shall not cease from exploration, and the end of all our exploring will be to arrive where we started and know the place for the first time.

Sierra Nevada Bigfoot is 9.6%, I had a Spaten Optimator the other night and I've heard its around 10~11%, didn't actually see the bottle though. It was mighty tasty for such a strong beer.
