I'm only level 8 right now. But I only started last night too. I played it for quite awhile last night and some more after school today. Some things i've really liked:
-The spawn rate in the newbie areas is fast. There are monsters all over the place.
-The downtime is so much less. You can almost be dead, sit down and eat, and be ready to go in 10 seconds. Compared to the 2 minutes sit on your ass time in everquest.
-Everyone in your group gets the quest item when you kill a 'boss'
-Lots of useful quests. These games dont really have a point to them, but so many quests have made all my adventuring have some sort of purpose so far.
-It's fun :O

I don't know what race/class you picked but I liked some of the things you said. I will also add on to that.

- Graphics are amazing not just great AMAZING.
- Sounds are really amazing as well.
- Voice is really good and some of the characters are funny.
- Very good quests.
- VERY VERY FUN.

I haven't died yet but I'm interested in seeing for myself how the death thing works out. Supposably when you die you can ghost around and pick where you want to respawn or something it sounds neat. I'm lvl 16 right now.

Lineage II is definitely going to be good shit. Personally, I think it beats the hell out of WoW.

Lineage II is shit. The only thing it may beat WoW in is PvP and that shit gets boring anyway. In D2 I rarely PvP. The graphics, quests and everything else is sooo much better than Lineage.

pvp is lineage 2's main attraction. player vs environment is the stuff that gets boring in a mmorpg.

LOL... that's not possible, the level 30's you saw had alpha, which was before beta released to a secelt few, friends of friends of blizzard type deal.

I'm a dwarf warrior. I plan on changing a bunch of times during the beta to see what I like. I'll try different skills each time too. Right now I'm doing survival, cooking, and fishing.

I doubt they will make their release date that it says on the pre order page. This is Blizzard remember.
