Late game.
the mines are gone? are you saying there is no gold left on the map and you have 30k stocked? I'd rather have blizz, I can poly all his lusties, slow em and blizz, or kill w/paladins and heal em, whats he gonna do then? :/

Late game.
If all the gold on the map was gone and you had 30k banked, and assuming your enemy had 30k as well, the mages with full spells would win vs ogres. You could even set up several guard towers and sit back and wait. If he tried to play defensively, mage bombs and invisible polymorph runs would own.
