Organizing a meeting with Voobly rep MiCh_
MiCh_ on voobly has expressed interest in
setting up a meeting
for our players, to talk to us about our petition to add WC2 to their platform. Any feedback on this? When might we have the greatest chance of pulling it off, e.g. when are most people available?
I'll crosspost this to the FB group to try and get more people involved.

I don't think it's hosting the server that's the problem, it's war2combat. But if they're not hosting war2combat it seems ok to me? don't ask/don't tell

War2 is actually considered "Abandonware" by definition. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abandonware It doesnt relieve any copyrights but it does describe the situation quite well. Blizzard has allowed War2 to become abandonware and even its own employees have played the abandonware versions (war2combat, my versions, etc). It's not like we are sneaking around without Blizzard's knowledge. They know exactly whats going on with War2.

it's in the thread. anyway i already said i dont tihnk it should matter above. but my one thought is if we say "this will be good, we'll get new players from voobly," but then voobly doesn't have combat, then we may not get new players from them heh. still probably would be an improvement though
