he surely is compensated, whether or not he is a salaried employee. i doubt he pays for his courtside seats, for example.

i think its fair for the NBA to try to put a halt on this kind of stuff. maybe in this case its a little silly, because its Drake, and hes a goof. but generally I am in favor of having contracted employees be courted by other employers.

im probably biased, because I live in Utah and am a big jazz fan, but i dont like the idea of the NBA becoming a gentrified league like MLB or European club soccer. I don't want the jazz to become a defacto minor league team, like how half of the MLB teams are, and like how 80% of the english premier league is.

schedules came out the other day and starting dec 19 to jan 4 Raptors have 7 road games over an 8 game span, 6 in a row.

world juniors hockey tournament coming to toronto is fucking with raptors schedule

NBA's experiment with extended All-Star break worked into '14-'15 schedule. For teams, minimum break between games is 8 days; some longer.

i contacted NBA and told them a shortened season would be unfair to the newbies in my fantasy league as they need more time to put together an adequate team to compete on my level.
