i've always thought that a multiplayer version of the game would be worthwhile, though it would require a lot of work and i'm not at all sure that square would be up to that task

i think there's some pc games these days that kind of go for that but from what i remember most of them are free to play cash shop crap

i think some of the portable games might have had multiplayer? never played them but seem to remember something about that

The psp version does indeed have multi. That was another change i forgot to mention. Dunno what it's like tho or the specifics.
