Who cares about the leafs? You're supposed to be a fan of hockey and you don't even watch the playoffs? Hmm.

why should that make me care about them? my second question was really the more important part of what I said anyway.

Boston is OP, for sure.
I would love to see Detroit knock them out, and I think Babcock and Co. are good enough to do it. My Penguins will not get past round 2, in my opinion. Boston is the easy pick but probably won't go just because some team will get hot. Maybe Montreal or NYR? I would say it doesn't matter since the west is so tough, but usually what happens is the west teams kill one another so things even out for the finals.
I'd like to see the Ducks win again just because I'm a huge
Teemu
fan, or the Sharks because holy shit how have they not won it yet??? They have been so good for so long.

nah i'll watch it. nhl playoffs are probably superior to the nba playoffs because of how predictable the nba is... _________________ "i don't have pet peeves, i have major psychotic fucking hatreds"

i mean the obvious choice is miami vs san antonio again, but I'd bet one of those teams doesn't make it all the way.
Miami seems more likely to make it all the way, but I still don't give them a free series win against Indiana. Indiana is fucking good, regardless of this late season swoon.
And I certainly dont give SAS a free pass to the finals, the clippers, rockets and of course thunder are pretty damn good teams.
with the exception of the first round in the Eastern Playoffs, I get the feeling that this is going to be a fucking crazy playoff season. Everyone out west is hard to beat, the 1-8 Spurs vs Grizz might even go 7. And then after the first round of the east, where some 30-52 teams get hammered by the good teams, the rest of that side should be pretty good too.

the unpredictability level is a little higher this season than in previous seasons, but in general it's a lot more predictable than the nhl playoffs.. _________________ "i don't have pet peeves, i have major psychotic fucking hatreds"

the west is better overall this year but I think boston right now is better than any of the west teams. I don't say this because just because they're the #1 seed. they're just an extremely impressive playoff team to me with zero weaknesses. anything can happen and anyone can win but I think boston right now has the best chance.
i'm also predicting san jose to come out of the west. dunno why.

yeah cant argue that. any seed in the nhl playoffs can win, realistically only the top 2-3 seeds will ever make the finals in the NBA.

Lucic is a great hockey player but he sure can't handle taking a hit - he acts like a baby. Should be suspended at least a game but won't happen in the playoffs.

Kris LOLtang is one of the worst defenseman in all of hockey and it set to make like 7+ million next year. I was so pissed when they gave him that contract, and he's turned out to be even worse than I thought he would be somehow. The Penguins would have been much better off letting Letang walk, resigning Cooke (hugely underrated hockey player due to his shenanigans), and signing a free agent or two or three or four instead of paying Letang so much. =\
Go pens??? =\ _________________ Wartoo

blackhawks player taunting backes saying "wakey wakey" after the hit when he's likely going to be out for a while now with a concussion. it's not completely clear who's saying it but it looks like keith. not surprising, keith has always been a real piece of shit.

The officiating was absolutely terrible in the Red Wings/Boston series. Boston is really good though. I don't see how Detroit could have won.
