it involves having VMWARE installed on your pc
then running a linux OS inside it (in a window)
then install war2combat there
to install war2combat on linux you need an app called WINE
if you are a newbie at linux you will need to do lots of goggling on how to:
1.- install wine
2.- install graphics drivers for the linux os
i tried lots of linux OSes about 2 years ago trying to execute warcraft and none
of them worked at a playable speed. game was all choppy
but tupac claimed recently he was running it fine so u better ask him
edit: apparently its SuSe OS you need to download

How to play in windowed mode in Win 7!!
lmao. No need to linux/blah blah...
Just get a virtual machine installed (windows xp is best as its lightweight) and install war2 in it.
You can use the excellent virtualbox (https://www.virtualbox.org/) and mouse can be set not to leave the virtual machine window.
I could link you with a copy of microxp (100mb installed I think) or you can google it or use your own windows xp copy. Its pretty easy to setup. I tried it but playing on a 640*480 screen windowed on a full HD screen monitor suxs major ass! _________________

Yeah don't make a VM for just that reason. USA-Feature made a thread to a working window mode for war2 search for it.
