no that gruop had poland and kroea and it was in 2002. the armenicans did play germany in the kncokout stage tthat year though and shouldve beat them

I hated our (USA) group when I first saw it, but after thinking about it I think we'll advance. Portugal is an overrated side because they have the best player in the world in Cristiano Ronaldo, and Ghana has eliminated us in the past two World Cups. Germany is one of the favorites to win the World Cup, but with all of the German ties we have on our current team I think they'll underestimate us and we'll give them a good fight. We have a better team than both Portugal and Ghana, now it's time to prove it.

Australia usually has a quality side, but this is the weakest their team has been in a very long time. I'd be surprised if they even came within two goals in any of their games, much less getting any points--They're in a very tough group.
Belgium is one of the sleeper teams that can do some damage. The amount of quality coming through Belgium right now is amazing. I'd be surprised if they didn't make it to the quarterfinals at the very least. They're too inexperienced/young right now, but next World Cup in Russia, they should be one of the favorites.

group with brazil, croatia and camerun
i have slight more hope than a few weeks ago though..
a whole new team is in place. none of the players fromt he qualification period were called. none of the players that play on high european league teams were called......thats a positive thing.
all of them were really fucking shit up... they may be good in their european teams, but guys like chicharito were really fucking up..
not that the current team is better or what, and actually the coach is a huge moron but they seem more genuienly motivated than the previous team.

Yes, the problem with Spain's coach, Vincente del Bosque, is that he sticks with who he knows instead of playing the deserving players. This has worked because Spain is going through a golden generation right now, and they still have 2-3 deep of world class players in every position. The only problem is del Bosque will play the older "dependable" players and it will come back to haunt Spain. Not to mention, they're in one of the toughest groups and I see Chile as a dark horse to progress very far in the tournament.
