| Starcraft2 is worth getting. Right now, the game seems limited but it is certainly fun for casual play. There are also 2 expansions that hopefully will make the game more complete.
The game is extremely newb friendly. I think that is why it is so fun for casual players and also the reason it lacks depth. That is my opinion which is without a doubt controversial.

Yeah SC2 kind of owns (like SC1 as well) since its a RTS game like WC2 not a RPG like WC3. Doesn't require as much microing as WC2 but strategy eye it does require and i like it .

it's kinda gotten stale for me now after playing around 1000 games. But it's still pretty awesome. If I was 14 again I'd be playing the shit out of this.

Yeah i know the feeling. Problem is the 200 supply limit (sometimes even in 4vs4s), the battles are not epic enough since of that. Ofc there is also the same problem with WC3 4v4, when one member of team leaves, rest does so as well. Also, the maps are a bit too boring, there isn't much alteration in them. Map i love most is Megaton, it's very intense map.

That's not exactly a small number of games. 15000 minutes roughly of play. 15000/60=250 hours

I'd say you got your monies worth?

yeah for sure. I think the single player alone was worth the price of admission, I probably spent 40+ hours just playing the missions/redoing them for achievements.
