Yea well I told you. I admit my high praises of Tottenham were a bit biased because of my Croatian love for Modric and Kranjcar (who isn't even seeing the field for what reason I have no idea), but Man City is on the brink of something good, its just they falter a lot for some reason.

Tottenham beat Champion league holders Inter Milan 3-1 today and Modric made a fucking nice pass to Van der Vaart. Good to see they still got some life in the CL.

wayne rooney is back. lawl.
i was watching wayne rooney's street striker, where they look for talented soccer players. and the decision process was mind boggling, they would send people home that were clearly better than others who were allowed to advance. i didn't know what the fuck was going on. _________________ "i don't have pet peeves, i have major psychotic fucking hatreds"

I wouldnīt dismiss the corruption allegations, simply because Grondona is one shady mf, and Argentina a country run by corruption. Grondona has been in front of AFA for 30 years, that just canīt be right.

I think Russia getting it is fine. Qatar is a bit odd considering how small they're. They got the money sure, but there's is no space. It'll be interesting.

England has every right to be upset. Sepp Blatter (The President of FIFA) is notorious for hating England. He criticizes The English Premiere League for splashing out cash for players, yet says nothing about the other big teams such as Real Madrid, Barcelona, The Milan's, etc. I think Russia and Qatar will both do fine as hosts, but FIFA is as corrupt as they come. When a representative on the voting panel from your respective region doesn't even vote for the nation that is representing the region, wouldn't you say that's a conflict of interest? The FIFA panel is paid off with dirty money because everyone knows they're corrupt and it's an easy way to host The World Cup.

Qatar is a joke. The World cup shouldnt be played in a country that doesnt have enough people to field a team. _________________ We shall not cease from exploration, and the end of all our exploring will be to arrive where we started and know the place for the first time.

Biggs. City is in 2nd and apparantly Tevez wants to leave them...I don't know why he's bitching now. Man U have yet to lose a game. Tottenham sit at 4th and Chelsea have fallen all the way to 5th after dominating first for quite some time.

Tevez doesnīt get along with Mancini, but I donīt think he will leave any time soon. He has been kind of depressed lately, he needs to suck it up.
If I were Guardiola I would try to get Bale on my team ASAP. He might be the best player in his position in the world already, and he is only 21. It is also the only position were Barcelona doesnīt have an amazing player (Abidal is getting old and Maxwell sucks).

As long as Redknapp is manager I don't see them transferring Bale. He is amazing did you see that 40 yard dash by Modric and then he passes it to Bale only to make an impossible angle shot to score? He's a beast. I'm fairly certain they signed an extension on Bale already so it won't be in the near future maybe when he's 25-26 he'll leave or be transferred, maybe earlier if Hotspur sputter in the coming years.

I saw that. The game versus AC Milan was amazing too. Also the voley to the goalie top left corner.
It`s all about the amount of money. If Barcelona offers 40+mm I donīt think totenham can retain him, and I think he is worth it. He shouldve also won the golden boy instead of Balotelli.

If they keep Modric, Bale, and Van der Vaart for the future they'll be at least Top 7. They need defense and a better keeper though. Their midfield is just so damn good.

City just made a deal for Bosnian striker Dzeko..the dude has some great potential, he was already good at Wolverhampton. Rumors are saying they're trying to get rid of Adebayor and Santa to free up space for Tevez and Dzeko. Dzeko and Tevez duo is quite tough...ugh

Its kind of rare, but Newcastle were a recent callup from Division 2..so yeah...They're aren't that much better. Newcastle used to be decent back when they were a mainstay in the EPL, but they just got back from demotion.

And Barcelona is offering 46 million euros for Bale. I guess i was not the only one that saw this as the right move for Barcelona.

Premiership teams really don't place much precedence on cup wins with the exception of The Champion's League. The same could be said for many of the leagues as well. It's not uncommon in Italy, Spain, England, or Germany for a lower-level side to beat a top-tier team in cup competition because the higher-tiered team will usually rest their star players against lower-level competition. As far as Newcastle goes, they were consistently in the top-10 for International clubs in financial worth. Newcastle getting relegated was a big deal--and they came back up the next year. They have a great fan base, but have been unlucky for quite a while now. They're comparable to the Chicago Cubs of MLB. Just FYI: They didn't come from "Division 2", they came up from The Championship. Division 2 in England is actually the fourth division (Premiership-Championship-1st Division-2nd Division).
