 | Was released today. I bought the retail version. The manual is a fucking joke, it practically fits inside the dvd jacket. Multi-million dollar budget and $60 purchase price you would think they could throw in a decent manual._________________

I'm in the behind the scenes dvd.. the first section, programmer talk I believe. You'll see me spamming some units for a few seconds (nhill).

 | Yeah I made my name "Zugzug" as a temporary training name, now I can't change it. I'm stuck with it forever haha! (better than being stuck with "Oonymaiallymadoos" I guess.)_________________

The game changes so much that a manual is pointless. Look at WoWs manual. Pretty much 90% of it is inaccurate.

 | yeah the campaign is slower than i anticipated. Hopefully it will pick up later. The "brutal" difficulty is also not that hard - at least for the first several missions. I found frozen throne's expert harder_________________

sc2 is way better than sc1/bw. Glad to see fast expansion isnt any good.

But still hate losing to invinsible units.

Yeah that one was fun. I plopped a pair of planetary fortresses at each ramp, backed up by tanks, turrets, and bunkers. Then used the laser drill to quickly pop archons and colossus.Originally posted by BanMe

First time around I went for the popup flame turrets, I like planetary fotresses much better. Where else can you find a unit with 10x the hit points of a siege tank and devastating firepower? Can't wait to try out the last mission on brutal with these puppies. The flame turrets worked ok, but I imagine PF's will work much better.

 The Dig

 | I'm on mission 25 on brutal (against kerrigan) - nice challenge here. In fact I'm not sure how to beat it yet. Tried about 3-4 approaches so far. It's pretty sweet to be in this position of thinking about how i can beat a mission strategically._________________

 | Finished all 29 on brutal and got my Sarah Kerrigan - personally I think the Zerg Kerrigan woulda been a cooler icon. Last mission was tough but fortress / walls / tanks / and banshees to take out the worms did the trick (battlecruisers too slow). Anyway, on how to get all 29 missions...

you have to go back and do the choice missions the other way, and there is a building in the bottom right on "media blitz" level where you get a secret mission. You have to go to the building, get the secret mission, and finish the media blitz level - then it unlocks. You must have a saved game from before going to char to do this, otherwise you can't navigate there on the star map. Of course anyone who cares has probably already googled this as I did ;p
